This is Halloween

Every year around Halloween, the Voyakiloid got festive for the season with an array of costumes. Haku never wore the same costume twice, always switching to a fresh new one every year and each a different design that suited her mood. One year she was a bunny girl and the last year a sexy magician to host their murder mystery theater. Even with the few PVs she had produced, the Voyakiloid had almost as many costumes in her wardrobe as Miku Hatsune had clothes. There was an abundance to choose from that at times the woman was at a total loss to pick the perfect costume for that year.

Earlier in the day, her hands had wandered through her closet at her abundant costumes, stopping to hum and haw when one caught her eye. At the beginning of her closet lay her costumes from previous years along with the costume for her Project Diva demo. Though they would be a blast to wear, Haku fought better and decided against them. She wanted a more simple and modest costume for this turn of events, as she had been noticing the abundant amount if younger Vocaloids creeping into the mansion. Beautiful as some claimed her to be she had the motherly air about her and didn't want to tarnish the good standing she had left in the mansion.

Next in line she came across a very simple dress in white, with long sleeves and an a brown apron. Haku couldn't remember where the costume had come from, but it reminded her of a time when a girl of similar looks and same white long hair came to the mansion. No, it wouldn't be right wearing that particular outfit and be an offense to the similar woman who had come and gone. Passing over it Haku counted a few other costumes she barely remembered wearing, skipping by them with mimicking facial features of surprise and distaste. A cat girl, maid outfit, a hoodie with a weird grinning face, business suit and attire, a mock up of Miku's uniform...the choices were endless to the silver Voyakiloid but not one did she care for!

Thinking she'd have to give up and go without costume for the year, a glint of a blue and silver crown caught her eye on the shelf above her costumes. Curious, the woman took the crown down for inspection, discovering the right underneath on a hook was a dress of similar colors and lace. "Ah?" Haku's surprised expression turned to amusement as she pulled the dress out for her eyes to gaze upon, noticing the handiwork of the fragile lace around the sleeves and the color of blue used on the sleeves. By looks, the entire costume was intact along with the props.

"This one shall do." mused Haku, changing out of her normal clothing and into the new found costume, finding it a perfect fit after all this time. Glancing at her full length mirror in her room, the Voyakiloid donned the crown on her head, tilting it to the side in a haphazard fashion to give the feel of a disorganized princess. In her hands, Haku picked up the marionette and puppet strings which were to be the accessories to round off the entire look.

"Perfect. Absolutely perfect!"
